The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) will be hosting its 19th Annual Graduate Research Conference. BGSA has invited graduate students of color from all over the Midwest and from various disciplines to come present their work.
Members of NUBAA have been invited to come and participate in the conference networking lunch (as well as attend the conference in full). It will be a wonderful opportunity for graduate students of color to meet and interact with Black professionals in the Chicago area.
The conference will take place on April 23rd at Loyola’s Downtown Campus (parking and conference registration, which includes food, will be covered!))
Additionally, BGSA would also like to ask/invite NUBAA members to participate in a panel in which professionals discuss how being a person of color has impacted their career and discuss any obstacles that have had to be overcome.

If you are interested in attending the event in any capacity then please email Jasmine Lucas at firstname.lastname@example.org.
